Judging by the spike in activity from the Accommodation & Food Services vertical, February is the month for releasing sales teams into the wild in search of new business opportunities. Their destinations could be customer meetings in exotic locations (think Hull), conferences or ‘workshops’ etc. – which is no doubt causing many an expense account to shudder in anticipation. The result: a 32% increase in leads from the sector, which places it at number five for the month, behind such stalwarts as Manufacturing (1st), Retail, the Public Sector, and Construction.
